Steps to setup the app.
- 1. Download the dmg file for Apple Silicon Macs or for Intel-based Macs
- 2. Open it and move productiveyarn inside the applications folder.
- 3. Before being able to use the app on macOS, you need to sideload it first. Run this code on the terminal app (open the terminal app and paste the command and then press enter to run it)
xattr -cr "/Applications/productiveyarn.app"
- 4. Click anti-idle/Stay Active button, this will prompt a message asking to enable accessibility permissions. The prompt will appear behind the productiveyarn window, move the window first in order to see it.
- 5. After enabling accessibility permissions, re-launch the app to make keyboard shortcuts work. ctrl + shift + E is for anti-idle. esc is both for cancelling anti-idle and stopping recording.
- 6. You can now use the app, the window purposely stays on top of everything to enforce you to minimize it.
